April 29, 2026

Rosanne Marie Nagy, age 82, of Wyoming, Michigan went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. She was preceded in death by her sons; David James Homer, and Steve Nagy; birth parents, Helen Weisenberg and Thomas Sines; mother and father, Natalie and Edward Homer.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Linda and Laura; grandchildren; Marie, Christine, Joshua, Jason, Elise, Elena, Cheryl, Tohosa and Cadence; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; siblings, Thomas, John, Valerie, Pat, Brenda, Mary, Sandy and Barb. Rosanne worked for Fisher Body in Detroit for many years, and then she served in the kitchen at Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain. Rosanne enjoyed watching birds, her favorites being Blue Jays and Cardinals, and loved her cat, Sparkles, but she loved her family most of all.  Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Easter.  Her passions in life were music, dance and playing card/board games.  If you were a child or grandchild of hers, you never walked away without knowing how to play some kind of card game.  She would even join the family for some volleyball games.  Rose was famous for baking Christmas cookies, and among everybody's favorites were Candy Cane and Holiday Hide-aways.  She never missed a family event and lived for those special moments. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 9th at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.  Burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Linda Otilano or Laura Nagy to help with funeral expenses.
