Roger “Doc” Van Duinen

Roger “Doc” Van Duinen, age 80, of Byron Center, a man of faith, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.  Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Connie; his children, Kathy and Bruce Ter Beek, Debbie and Doug Coke, Brenda and Tom Boersma, Mary and Chuck Anderson, Scott and Erin Van Duinen; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Marilyn Oosterbaan, Paul and Ursula Van Duinen, Linda and Marion DeJong, Nettie Van Duinen, Tom and Deb Van Duinen; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Anne Batts, Pete and Marlene Batts; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday 11 am at First Byron Center Christian Reformed Church, 2480 85^th St., Byron Center, with Rev. Tom Groelsema and Rev. Ron Noorman officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or Gideon’s International.
