Robert McNeil

Air Force First Lieutenant, Robert Martin McNeil, 33, of Walker, MI. left us unexpectedly to be with our Heavenly Father on January 16, 2017, at approximately 4 pm. Robert was welcomed by grandparents, Dorothy and Fred McNeil; grandmother, Marjorie Clark and great-grandmother, Audrey Hansen; and grandfather, Theodore Chulski; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Robert is survived by his loving family, wife, Meagan McNeil; parents, Audrey and Steven Chulski; father, David McNeil; sister, Cassandra (Adam Giszewski) McNeil; nieces, Evelyn, Olivia, Avaca; nephew Athen Finn; sister, Heather (Travis) Hill; nieces, Sophia, Ramona, whom he loved dearly; grandfather, Harold "Skip" Martin (Pam) Clark; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Robert loved volunteering with the children overseas on his many deployments. He served as a Honor Guard. Robert was always known as a compassionate and kind human being. He treasured his position in the Air Force and all that the loyalty to our country stood for. He had touched many more lives than he could have ever imagined along his path. We will forever cherish your memory and miss you. We love you Robert Martin McNeil. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11AM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Holy Family Parish, 425 S. State St. Sparta, MI. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1PM to 3PM and 6PM to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont, MI., and one hour prior to Mass on Thursday at Church.
