Bob would always talk to me at Hudsonville Church after my husband passed away. He would check out books from our library. He would also tell me where the good restaurants were to eat at. Some were in out of the way places. I do not know how he found them. Bob is now home with his parents and sister and no longer in pain.

With all his health problems, he still was aa man who was friendly and joked around with the aids. He helped a 92 year old man who had just lost his wife to play and laugh with him. He helped the man to feel like he could continue living in spite of her death. He was a great personal friend whom I only knew for about 16 months. We both grew up on farms but unfortunately the farms had to be sold and we both missed our homes we loved. He loved reading books as did I.
