Richard Pursley

PURSLEY- Richard Pursley, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; mother, Sara and his father-in-law, Richard Keller. Surviving is his son, Shawn (Jean) Pursley; grandchildren, Harrison Pursley and Lauren Pursley; sister, Margaret (Larry) Nichols; mother-in-law, Frances Keller. Richard will be remembered for his service in the Marines during the Vietnam conflict from 1968 to 1970. He was trained in helicopter repair and became a door gunner during the service. He was the past president of the Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Society and was also involved with several transportation clubs in the Holland, Muskegon and Grand Rapids areas. Memorial service will be at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE with visitation one hour prior to the service.
