Albert Morgan Sr.

Albert L. Morgan Sr., age 91, of Grand Rapids, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2026. Albert was a laid-back man who loved spending time with his family. Family meant everything to him. He proudly served in the United States Army. In his spare time, Albert enjoyed watching Western movies and admiring classic cars. He will be remembered for his love of family and the simple things that brought him joy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine Morgan; son, Matthew Morgan. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Albert (Sue) Morgan Jr., Tim Morgan, Julie (David) Adams, John Morgan; grandchildren, Rebecca Holm, Elizabeth Morgan, Jeremy Morgan, Chris Gifford, Matthew Morgan Jr., Seth Adams, Aja Adams; great-grandchildren; brother, Donald “Sonny” and Jo Morgan; and several loving nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, at Brookside Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Paul DeVries officiating. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
