My sympathy to the whole family. Dick was a wonderful man and he certainly loved his family. We had some great talks at church about family AND the Tigers. I will miss him. Kay Wood

Dick was a fun member of Golden K Kiwanis Club. He served in several capacities but most of all his joyful spirit and good humor are what I remember. We have been missing him but now we know he is at rest with his heavenly father Keith Bovee

Our deepest sympathies to the family. I remember well the years in Allegan where our families would get together back in the 50's. Dad (Franklin) had taught in the system so there were added connections. He was a good man and administrator. Fred C Douglas

My grandfather will be missed and never forgotten. He instilled the passion of family and education into me and I will never forget our many conversations about politics, sports, and the stories of his life. There was never a topic my grandfather did not have an opinion on, I can still hear him saying "you got me?" I am comforted by all the amazing memories we share. We love you Grampa and are so glad you and Grama are together again. Maegan VanSolkema

Thanks for letting me be part of your wonderful family. Even, or especially, because I was not your idea of a well-behaved child. I remember those days as some of my favorites. Julie Johnston

My heartfelt sympathy for the family and friends. Lost of a loved one in death and coping with the big adjustment that such a great loss brings is never easy. Jehovah God will be our secure refuge knowing that He felt what we feel. The resurrection hope found in the Bible helps you to gain an inner calm and strength.-John 5:28,29. May your family and friend find comfort now by meditating on the prospect of meeting your loved ones again.
