Michelle Renee Brown

Michelle Renee (VanRhee) Brown, age 46, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord following a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 24, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Brown; sons, Cameron Brown (Alyssa Rivera), Hayden Brown, Evan Brown (Rebecca Heinicke); granddaughter, Averie Brown; mother, Sharrel DeGroot (Tom DeGroot); father, Larry VanRhee; sister, Kim Miller (Jeff Miller); brother, Brad VanRhee; many extended family members and special friends. Her vibrant personality and zest for life made everyone fall in love with her. She sang from her heart with the most beautiful voice that touched your soul. She took life by the horns and made things happen. She enjoyed Harley riding, ORV’s, diving, singing in bands and karaoke, bowling, golf, and most of all making sure all were having a great time. A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held on Friday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at Jamestown Baptist Church, 2472 Quincy St., Hudsonville, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, July 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday, July 7, from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Wyoming Employees Community Outreach, Attn: Traci Shaffer, 1155 28th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.

I'm so sorry to the family for their sudden loss. It's always difficult to lose a loved one, but it's especially tragic to lose them so early in life. I lost someone dear to me some years ago and what brings me comfort is to realize death is a temporary enemy (John 5:28,29). So although your time with Michelle was tragically cut short, you can have the hope of being reunited with her forever under perfect circumstances here on Earth (Revelation 21:4). Until then, please know Jehovah God will give you the strength to endure (Psalm 94:17-19). Please accept my sincerest condolences.
