Michelle Renee Brown

Michelle Renee (VanRhee) Brown, age 46, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord following a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 24, 2017.  She is survived by her husband, Gordon Brown; sons, Cameron Brown (Alyssa Rivera), Hayden Brown, Evan Brown (Rebecca Heinicke); granddaughter, Averie Brown; mother, Sharrel DeGroot (Tom DeGroot); father, Larry VanRhee; sister, Kim Miller (Jeff Miller); brother, Brad VanRhee; many extended family members and special friends.  Her vibrant personality and zest for life  made everyone fall in love with her.  She sang from her heart with the most beautiful voice that touched your soul.  She took life by the horns and made things happen.  She enjoyed Harley riding, ORV’s, diving, singing in bands and karaoke, bowling, golf, and most of all making sure all were having a great time.  A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held on Friday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at Jamestown Baptist Church, 2472 Quincy St., Hudsonville, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, July 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at  Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW  and on Friday, July 7, from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
