Mercedes Romero, age 84, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 59 years, Domingo; sons, Ariel (Debra) Romero, Omar (Sherry) Romero; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Eliezer (Orlinda) Romero; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Romero. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:00 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Josh Benton officiating. Interment at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
