Melita Vries

DE VRIES - Melita Mae, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin and her daughter Marijo. Melita will be deeply missed by her children, Rick, Luanne (Gary) Pease, Kristi (Mark) Segard, Todd (Marilyn), Jim (Sherri); twelve grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren will miss her love and concern for each of them. Sadly, two great-grandchildren yet to come will not know that special love she gave to each of us. She also leaves a brother-in-law, James and three sisters-in-law, Betty Jean, Betty Ann, and Lucille. For most of her life she was an active member of the Alpine-Westend church family. Attending grandchildren's sporting events and musical performances was a highlight for her. A private burial has taken place at Washington Park Memorial Cemetery.
