Marge really cared for her students. I remember she would sit on the bus to calm a kindergarten student who was anxious about the "big kids". She waited patiently until the student was more confident. She did this more than once!

I was blessed to have her as a kindergarten teacher, also to have her and Neil as a sunday school teacher as we attended the same church. Great lady!!

Marge was the oldest girl in a family of 12 siblings and became a second mom to many of us.
She was very outgoing and social and brought joy into our home. Mother Marge cared for us in many ways and took us in to live with her and her family when we had nowhere to go.
In these last few years we began to lose her to deafness and heart issues and lately to the rules of covid that left her all alone and lonely.
So with her kids, and nieces and nephews and cousins and friends and students we can only imagine Marge wrapped in Gods magnificent glory
With Jesus.

We had hoped that the covid pandemic would end soon so that we could visit Marge. She and Neal were our friends more than 65 years -- ever since Calvin College. Marge was special!
