Maria Agrusa

AGRUSA - Maria Agrusa, aged 80, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 23, 2016. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Agrusa. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Rick) Ver Strate; her son, John A. Agrusa; her four grandchildren, Michael (Xhulijeta) Ver Strate, Matthew (Jessica) Ver Strate, Steven (Katelyn) Ver Strate, Timothy (Kristen Garrow) Ver Strate; five great grandchildren, Klea Ver Strate, Brayden Ver Strate, Lucas Ver Strate, Brooklyn Ver Strate, and Oliver Ver Strate. She is also survived by her brother, Carlo (Lena) Di Leonardo and sisters, Gluseppa Clemente, Fina Provenzano, Teresa (Paul) Miosi, Rosa (Casimiro) Cannizzo; and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. Maria was born in Sicily, Italy and worked as a tailor throughout her life. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at St. Pius X Church 3937 Wilson Ave., Grandville, MI 49418. Her family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with prayers of the Rosary being recited at 7:30 PM.
