Marcia Lee Stevens, age 79 of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale DeHoog. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 31 years, Gregory; children, Rick (Martha) Videan, Ronald (Kim) Videan, Leslie Haslett; step children, Mitch (Lisa) Stevens, Kevin (JaNell) Stevens, Todd (Carla) Stevens; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Marcia was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was devoted to her church and God. Marcia worked as Transportation Supervisor for 32 years for the Grandville Public School system and the Region 3 bus system. Marcia enjoyed traveling, skiing, boating, and fishing. She and Greg spent three months in Alaska immediately after she retired. She was a lover of nature and animals, feeding baby raccoons by hand. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. John Vallier presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, August 27, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 8:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice or Sunset Legacy Foundation at Brookcrest Nursing Home.

I am sorry to hear of your mom passing. Her beautiful photo reminded me of the good times we shared with our favorite neighbors. She had a wonderful personality and was always kind and patient .

Marcia was a good friend and one of the best bosses I have ever had the pleasure to work with. We worked together through some difficult times at GPS.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you all are surrounded by love and support during this difficult time. Please take comfort in John 5:28, 29 and 1 Corinthians 15:26, where God promises that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the near future and will never have to fear losing them again.
