Dear Gord, Gary, Jim, Sandy, and each of your families. Jayne and I would like to extend our sympathy to each of you. We first met Lois about forty-five years ago, when Gord invited us into his kitchen to show us plans for our first house that he was going to build. Jayne and I were pleasantly surprised when Lois brought out coffee and baked goods along with the easy going compassionate manner she showed to us. May you, also remember the wonderful memories, of the great times you shared together.

Gord, I read the obituary today of Lois passing away last week. I am very sorry and send my sympathy to you. She looked the same in that picture as I will always remember her. I loved her smile and her musical talent! I’m hoping you have family close by which will be a huge help to you. Doug has been gone now almost 6 1/2 years and we lost a son too. I grieve with you. Life isn’t easy without our spouse esp but our loving Lord will walk with you thru each day. May His presence bless you. Your classmate, Judy Vander Laan, Hoezee

Dear Gord, children and grandchildren We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral service in person this afternoon. We will be watching it on live stream. We are trying to limit our contacts with people during Covid 19. But we want you to know that we extend to you our deepest sympathy and pray that the Lord will give you His tender grace and love as you mourn. Lois was a very special cousin. Our paths crossed many times over the years and we will remember her for her smile, her friendliness and of course for her organ playing. It was always a delight when I had the privilege of leading in worship at First Jenison CRC to have Lois either on the organ or the piano. She has blessed many people through the years. In Christ, Cousins Milt and jeanne Doornbos
