Dear Maria and family, So very sorry to learn of Hellmud's passing. I have some good memories of the time our family and yours spent together, and will always appreciate your visits and and the friendship you and Hellmud had with my Dad and Mom. Howard and I pray that you will know the embrace of the everlasting arms of God as you have said goodbye to your husband and father. Our thoughts are with you.

I was always happy when my mom and dad would say we are going to visit the Schmid family. I would play with Darlene and Dorothy and always had a good time. From my perspective, Hellmut and Mary were kind and loving parents and their household was a joyful one. I know my dad and mom cherish their friendship with Hellmut and Mary and now Hellmut and my dad are friends united again with God.

David, My thoughts are prayers go out to you and your family. Your father sounded like a prince of a man. He instilled all those kind and giving qualities in you. A father to be truly proud of. God gives us beautiful memories of our loved ones, that's what helps us along the way of grieving. Thinking of you.

Bill and Family,
I'm very sorry for your loss. We lost my Mom a few months ago and it is not easy to say goodbye to someone so close. But you know they would want you to be at ease. My thoughts are with you.
