My fondest memory of my aunt Hazel is when we were at her mother's home in Zeeland and I was about 10 years old. It was unusual for a woman back then to have such a prestigious job. I asked her what she did for a living and she said "sit down and talk to me." She pulled out an old Manuel Smith Corona typewriter and typed every word that I said as I was talking. I remember it like it was yesterday because it was so amazing. She was a kind person who was always willing to teach and listen.
