David Matice

MATICE - Mr. David A. Matice aged 58 passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank; brother, Brian. Surviving are his mother, Bonnie Kalkofen; children, David (Racee) Matice, Jennifer (Donald) Matice-Chappell, Joseph (Amber) Matice; special grandchildren, Trevor, Hunter, Olivia and Isabelle Matice; his companion and friend, Phyllis McCann; sisters, Karen (Pat) Nolan, Tracy (Bill) Warner, Nancy (Bill) Augustine; brother, Kenneth Matice; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. David was a Master Diesel Mechanic and over the years he worked at OK Tires, Reynolds Metals and Van Eck Trucking. He was an avid sportsman, he loved hunting, fishing, boating and any reason to be outdoors. David made a sport out of hunting mushrooms. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
