It's hard to believe the first time we met was 10 years ago. You welcomed me into your home and always treated me as one of your grandchildren. All the memories were precious blessings that could never be forgotten, thank you for being an amazing grand father. Light and love, may you Rest In Peace and when the time comes we cannot wait to meet again. Until then with a heavy heart, we will miss you terribly.

I trained Dan on his route and one thing he always brought up to everyone was when we stopped at Hackley Hospital (about the fourth day of training), I kept reminding him to bring the scanner with him. (Hackley was quite a walk to our pick up point 5th floor!) He said, "I have this one", and I said "go for it!" Sure enough he forgot the scanner (and I knew it)! Next thing I knew, here comes Dan and I asked him if he forgot something and he just had that cute grin on his face, grabbed the scanner and went back up to the 5th floor! He told just about every new (and old) driver about it, but finished with "You know, I never forgot that scanner again!!" Whenever I rode with him he always talked about his family! He was so proud of his wife's Native American Heritage and all the good times at the casino. He told me how Lynn always had to prove her heritage with her blond hair and light complexion! He was so proud of his Grandson in the Army who flew drones and always gave us updates on him. And all the wonderful adventures growing up in Ludington. We will miss him a lot. "It's a good day for a ride Dan" 💕

Pool Grandpa, I just wanna say I'm happy for the memories and lessons even though not always directly taught you provided me. From dragging me around town sledding or in the stroller and me yelling "again!", to you lighting up the house literally and with your spirit on Christmas for all of us (also being the instigator of all the wrapping paper fights). You were more than just a grandfather to me and you will be missed greatly...watch over us and grandma, I love you.

Nice day for a ride Jo! That's how he said goodbye when we were going out on our routes for Quest Diagnostics. Didn't matter if it was storming out, or a blizzard. I will hear those words forever. You were a very fine man, and a good friend. Always in my heart, Joanne Dumont

Grandpa, all the times you walked us to the park, took us in the back yard to pick veggies from the garden, even being there when Colton was born. You are going to be greatly missed. I'm so happy you are no longer suffering. Please watch over all of us.
