Doyle - Arlene Joan Doyle aged 84 of Grandville passed away surrounded by her family Saturday May 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leighton; daughter, Mary Beth; granddaughter, Mandy Lynn; great grandson, Leighton David; great granddaughter, Lindsey Michelle; daughter-in-law, Lynn Marie; parents Arthur and Alma Lawrence; brothers, George, Richard, Larry; sister-in-law, Mary Jean. Arlene is survived by her children, Daniel (Brenda) Doyle, Julianne Coulter; grandchildren, Stephanie, Kenneth, Daniel, Kimberlee (Scott), Melissa (Douglas), Eric (Sara), Tiffany (Nick), Joshua (Christine), Nicholas, Sarah (Nick), Shawn (Jen), Nathaniel (Callie), Heather and Mackenzie; many many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry, David (Judy); sisters, Diane, Sandy (Robert), Kathy (Steve); sisters-in-law, Barb, Geraldine, Sharon, Dolores; With great care and concern, Kenneth Coulter, Alan Amon, Salvador Lopez. Arlene embodied the Holy Spirit, shining love and joy wherever she went. Her heart and home were opened to everyone and everyone loved her as their own grandmother. She was a pillar who taught work ethic, commitment, and perseverance. Working 33 years at Steketee's Department store and 12 years at Wendy's after their closure. She radiated immeasurable love, strength, and determination and will be greatly missed by so many. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 29, 2020 at St. Stanislaus Church 1871 136th Ave. Dorr. Family will greet relatives and friends 5PM - 7PM Thursday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. Prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM Friday at Church.
