Yen Thi Huynh

Yen Thi Huynh, age 73, of Grand Rapids, passed away into the presence of Jesus on Monday, January 1, 2024. Yen was a hard worker and came to the U.S. in 1989 from Vietnam. She continued to support her family in Vietnam. She also loved plants and flowers and loved visiting the Frederik Meijer Gardens many times. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Lisa Huynh, Loc Huynh and daughter-in-law, Jessica Albert-Huynh; 2 sisters in Vietnam, Luiu Thi Nguyen, Nga Thi Bich Huynh; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Rick Kiekintveld officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
