Wilma Levering

Wilma Levering, age 90, of Jenison, formerly of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 14, 2025. Wilma worked at Koeze’s Nut House for 24 years before retirement. She was a very patient and loving mother and grandmother. Most of all she was a faithful prayer warrior for her family and church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Wilma will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Deb Warners (Jesse and Ashlie Warners, Kelsey Brewer), Karen and Jim VanderWeide (Amber and Devon Wustman, Brandon and Caitlin VanderWeide, Caleb and Meghan VanderWeide), Doug and Amy Levering (Katelyn and Mike Burchard, Jon and Katie Levering, Kelli and Bryce Newton, Jenna Levering), Sheryl and Kevin Steketee (Michael Baas and fiancée McKenna Wilhelm, Nathan and Lauren Baas, Jared Baas); 19 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Pauline Groen, Thelma Snoeyink, Roberta Levering; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at South Grandville Church, 4130 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville with Pastor John Witvliet, officiating. Burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, April 17 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and from 10 to 10:45 am prior to service at church.  The family would like to thank the staff of Reflections at Sunset for their exceptional care.
