Wilma Faye Rudolph

Wilma F. Rudolph, 87, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on February 24, 2026, after a long struggle with kidney and heart failure.  Wilma was born and raised in Texas and met Delton Rudolph while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force.  They later moved to Cadillac, MI shortly after her marriage in 1958.  In 1976, she moved to Grand Rapids, MI and worked 20 years at Georgia Pacific until her retirement.  She will be long remembered for her love of her children.  She loved planting flowers, dining out with her kids and being a regular at Sandy’s Restaurant.  

She was preceded in death by her infant baby, Grace Rudolph; son in law, Tom Moffit; parents, William and Lola Matthies; sister, Mary Dixson; and brother, Arlon Matthies.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Lisa VanderMolen, Barb Moffit, Arnie (Sue Sandell) Rudolph, Della Wilson; grandchildren: Randy (Tara) VanderMolen, Jennifer Moffit, Andy Moffit, Alisha, Manlee, Roshana, Elijah, Isaiah; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

A private gathering will be held for family and according to her wishes, cremation will take place following.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
