Shields, Willie Edward Willie Edward Shields, age 62, of Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 17 years, Marciana; daughter, Josefa Grace Shields, Taliah Shields; two grandsons; sisters and brothers: Janice (Lawrence) Belton, Sachel Shields, Jocelyn Douglas, Kim Shields, Keith Shields, Keenan Shields, Rosemary (Adam) Wilson, Cheryl Champion; and many nieces and nephews.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday with one hour visitation prior to the service at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
