William Young

William H. Young, age 80, of Grandville, was embraced in the arms of his Savior Jesus to claim the victory of eternal life on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Virginia Young. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn Young; children, Patricia (George) Barnhardt, Bill (Hallie) Young; grandchildren, Libby (Brendan) Ruehle, Joe DeKraker, Ryan Young, Will Young, Romy Young, Cassidy Barnhardt, Collin Barnhardt; great-grandchildren, Ellis Barnhardt and Grace Ruehle; sisters, Mary Govert, Virginia “Deda” (Jim) Berg; sisters-in-law,  nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19th at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin St. Jenison, with Pastor Adam Peck officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday at 10 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Caribbean Children's Foundation.
