William “Bill” Lawrence Vanscoy, age 72, of Hudsonville, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, after a courageous battle with COPD. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Susan; children, Terry Vanscoy, Tanya (Shaun) Magoon, Troy (Neha) Vanscoy; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, MaryLou Kettery, Donald Vanscoy, Peggy Stuler, Sandy Vanscoy, Bonnie Vanscoy; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
