William Lee Knowlton

William L. Knowlton, age 76, of Jenison, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Bill was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa who cherished his family. He graduated from Plainwell High School in 1960. Bill retired in 1998 from SpartanNash after 30 years of dedicated service. He was an avid sports enthusiast, especially cheering on his Michigan Wolverines. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Jackie; his children, Connie and Andy Kozal, Scott Knowlton; grandchildren, Kayla and Andrea; brother, Steve Knowlton; his cousin, who has always been like a brother, Bob Knowlton; and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Don Van Slyke officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of West Michigan or to the Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
