William W. Goetzel, age 68, of Allendale, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Elaine Simpson and Joyce Goetzel. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Fae; daughter, Andrea Ryan; grandchildren, Katrina Ryan and Dominic Ryan; sister, Eleanor Dayson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Bill loved being around children and telling stories to children and adults alike. He loved music of all kinds, from Sinatra to AC/DC. He liked wearing his Hawaiian shirts and refused to eat anything green. For 26 years he told his wife he was going fishing but never did. He loved to just get in the car and go on an adventure. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ripple Effect at Lifestream Church.
