William Creamer Jr.

William W. Creamer Jr., age 93, of Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was an active member of the V.F.W. He was an avid, talented woodworker. He retired from Michigan Bell after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time at their cottage at Little White Fish Lake for 37 years. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; grandson, DJ Creamer; grandson-in-law, Chris Ramirez; parents, William Sr. and Marie Creamer; sister, Georgianne (Bob) Kayser; brother, Bruce (Marlene) Houseman. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Lynn Creamer, Jim and Donna Creamer, Tim Creamer; grandchildren: Amber and Matt Hall, Rachel (Thad) Creamer, Elizabeth Ramirez, Shane Creamer; great grandchildren: Ella, Evan, Morghan, Caleb, Cora; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Christine Beaudoin officiating. Burial will be held at Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Dementia Society of America.
