William Allen Crees

William A. Crees, age 64, of Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 4, 2022. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Thomas Crees, Rachel and Matthew Tithof; wife of 20 years, Daria Crees; granddaughter, Aurora Elizabeth Crees; brother, Jim and Dina Crees; nephew, Boaz Crees and Alexis McEwan; niece, Ainot Crees and Ken Gerber; and his cat Charlie of 6 years. He was 4 years active duty and 21 years in the Army National Guard and left after 25 years. He was an avid Lions fan and had unconditional love for all the family pets. William lived in Big Rapids before moving to Grand Rapids to be closer to his family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Was looking to contact him today and heard he'd passed. Worked with him for a few years, always looked forward to having him on my shifts. I remember coming out to him, one of the first people I trusted enough at work, and he was really sweet and accepting. Never treated me any different. Rest in peace, Bill, you grouchy old bastard. You are still loved and missed.

Bill was a very caring loving person . I used to work with him at meijers store 221 but mostly at the meijer gas station 605 . We were always a good team. I will always miss his jokes first thing when I walked in his laughter and he always made me smile. I miss you bill Lori Waldo

What a great guy. Bill was a coworker of mine at Meijer and a great person with a can do attitude and a positive outlook on life. I always enjoyed our conversations and his enthusiasm and sense of humor. I am so sorry for the sudden loss of Bill. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and his cat.
