William A. Kars, age 82, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 30, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kars; parents, James and Minnie Kars. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Laurie (Rick) Bareman, Rick (Darla) Kars, Tom (Linda) Kars, Elizabeth Cox; dear and beloved friend, Lois Noorman; grandchildren, Brett Bareman, Hilary (Doug) Elliott, Carissa (Ed) Rodarte, Caleb (Kerstin) Kars, Colton Kars, Noah Kars, Elijah Kars, Carly Knoper, Jasmine Kars, Ashley Kars, Aaliyah Kars, Katherine Young; four great-grandsons; brother, Eugene (Peggy) Kars; brother-in-law, Ray (Niza) Batema; sisters-in-law, Mary (Floyd) Kooienga, Kathy (Lester) Vanden Heuvel; and many nieces and nephews.  Bill proudly served our country as a member of the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423 with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating.  Interment will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, February 2, from 2-5 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
