Wendy Zuidema

Wendy Zuidema, age 68, of Jenison, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 and was reunited with her father, Everett Windquist, in Heaven. Wendy was born in Lakeview, Michigan to Everett and Flora Windquist.  She graduated from Wyoming Park High School and Grand Rapids Community College. She married her husband David 48 years ago. Wendy held membership in Grand Rapids Association of Realtors for more than 30 years and was always very active in GRAR committees, especially the Professional Standards Committee. She treated clients, fellow realtors, and the GRAR staff like family. She was always the first to offer a hand to someone in need, share a good joke, or engage in a friendly debate about politics, football, or any number of subjects. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David; her daughter, Holly Zuidema; her mother, Flora Windquist; her daughter-in-love, Danielle and Patrick Robinson; her grand agents, Lake and Jackson. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 5 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin St., Jenison, with  Pastor Adam Peck officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, December 4 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, and on Tuesday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association or Holy Cross Foundation.
