Gentry, Waneta Waneta Gentry (Jewett), aged 79 of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrt Gentry, sister, Dorothy Compton and brother, Wayne Jewett. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Ron and his children, Kasey and Ashleigh, Randy (Kristi) and their children Shayne, Adam and Faith; sisters and brothers, Ruth Moseler, Don and Laura Posthumus, Lola Middlecamp, Loretta Elliott, Tom and Carol Jewett; many nieces and nephews. Waneta will always be remembered for all the many hugs she gave. Funeral services for Waneta will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Heritage Baptist Church, 1570 60th St SE with Pastor Larry Chute officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2-4 pm and 6-8pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo SE, Kentwood. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center or Gideons International.
