Sieracki, Walter "Sharky" Walter “Sharky” Andrew Sieracki, age 95, of Grandville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 17, 2012.  He proudly served our country during WWII in the US Army as a forward observer attached to Battery A 489th Armored Artillery Battalion, 7th Armored Division.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Barbara and Robert Smith, Gregory and Susan Sieracki; grandchildren, David Smith, Michele and Jim Taylor, Kristen and Mark Schoenborn, Jennifer and David Mazurkiewicz, Erin and Jake Whelan; great grandchildren, Makenna and Brayden Schoenborn, Trey, Austin and Addison Taylor, Drew Cook-Smith; sisters, Roseline Coon, Maxine Aldrich; several nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am on Tuesday at St. Pius X Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, with Fr. Chris Rouech Celebrant.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or Wounded Warriors.
