Wallace Vaughn

VAUGHN - Mr. Wallace M. Vaughn, aged 90 of Wyoming, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor in 1998; and grandson, Aaron Griffith in 1986. Surviving are his wife, Nicky Rozendal-Vaughn; daughter, Viola (Jack) Hassett; grandchildren, Dawn (Todd) Lawliss, Brian (Courtney Scruggs) Griffith; Julie (Brandon) Merritt, Jason (Jeanne) Griffith; great grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin Lawliss, Shaliee Scruggs and Allen Griffith. Wallace worked as a supervisor for Oven Fresh for over 25 years, he served his country in WWII in the army as a machine gunner in the Battle of the Bulge. He also was a member of The Grand Rapids Model A Restoration Club. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. with Pastor Larry Mayberry officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
