Wallace Stob, age 87, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Luanne Lynn Stob. He is survived by his children, David D. Stob and his 2 children, Sharon J. and John Ross and their 6 children, Judy and Andrew Breuker. He will be dearly missed by his two special granddaughters, Crystal and Ken Van Dyken (Kace, Taya, Kip, Kam), Laura Beth and Curt Essenburg (Westin, Kinsley). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 3 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Brian Bosscher officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 2-3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Calvin College.

Sorry to hear about Wallace, i hope that your family will find comfort in the loving memories shared with him, and in the comforting words of Acts 24:15 which tell us about the resurrection to look forward to in the near future. May God give your family comfort during this sad time.

I was a friend of the Stobs and especially Sharon who was one of my good friends. I remember 'visiting' Mr. Stob in the principal's office a time or two! Prayers for you all. Heaven rejoices at another son coming home.
