Vivian Holford

HOLFORD- Vivian L. Holford, age 85, of Comstock Park, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Vivian enjoyed sewing, quilting and doing puzzles; she also found time to volunteer her services for S.O.W.E.R.S. She made a personalized quilt for each of her grandchildren. She loved her dolls. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Vivian was preceded by her husband, Emmor; son in law, Clarence Elam; two sisters; her brother; and her grandson, Ron Elam. She is survived by her children, Marvin (Anne) Holford, Sue Ann Elam, Mike (Linda) Holford, Mary (Larry) Poling, Joyce (Dale) Poling, Kenneth Holford, Carolyn (Bruce) Brink; her grandchildren, Esther Holford, Marvin (Vic Yoder) Holford Jr., Wayne (Marlene) Stiles Jr., Louis (Sara) Stiles, Jason (Leanne) Stiles, Shane (Barb) Winright, Barb Jablonski, Alan (Julie) Elam, Becky (Ron) Stark, Julie (Matt) Klekotka, David (Tammy) Elam, Melissa (Jeff) Nestell, Michael Holford, Jr., Lary (Tina) Poling, Jr., Brian (Becky) Poling, Jennifer (Matt) Jordan, Cassandra (Kevin) Burgess, Trudy (Dan) Morris, Shawn Holford, Amber (Joshua) Shoemaker, Jessica (Mike) Patterson, Brittany (Keith VanderHulst) Brink; a host of great grandchildren; her sister, Carol (Peter) McFarlane and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 13 at Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 14 Mile Rd., Rockford. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
