Virginia Scott

Scott-Virginia "Ginny" Esther Scott, 75, went home to our Lord on October 28, 2015 . She enjoyed sharing her faith in God, reading, baking & caring for her grandchildren, devoting many years to the care of her special grandson Drew. Chocolate chip cookies were her specialty to be shared with many. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Norville & Pearl Hendricks, brother Charles Hendricks, daughter in law Leah Royce, and great grandson Hunter McColley. Virginia is survived by her loving husband James Scott; sister Sherry (Richard) Clingman; sons Thomas (Susan) Royce, Kevin (Deb) Royce, Scott Royce, and Daniel (Bekki) Royce; stepsons James (Sonja) Scott and Timothy (Angela) Scott; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Prayer chapel at Grand Rapids First, 2100 - 44th St SW., Wyoming with Pastor Tim Ryder officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, November 2nd from 6-8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., Wyoming, and Tuesday from 10-11AM prior to the Service at Grand Rapids First. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the family would be appreciated.
