In her spare time she enjoyed her flower beds, sewing and handwork, genealogy, and traveling. Her husband, Casey, preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Michael) Koole, Bonny (Daniel) Carrel, Dianna (Drew) Fenstermacher, and Pamela (Sydney) Sheridan; as well as 21 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Pauline Spaans, Al and Mary Staal, Mart and Connie Staal, Dena and Milo De Wald, and Hugo and Thelma Staal; and many good friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 12 March, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Grandville Baptist Church, 4325 40th St. SW, Grandville, with Pastor Terry Burlingame officiating.
