Virginia Klomparens

Virginia M. Klomparens (Yarrington), age 89, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Ralph Klomparens. Virginia was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took great pride in her work as an administrative assistant at Jenison Public School High School in the guidance office for several years. Over the years, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading. Following retirement, she and her husband, Ralph, spent many winters in Florida where they made many friendships during their time there. Above all, her legacy of faith and family will be forever cherished. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jacquelyne and John Leppink, Rodney and Amy Klomparens, and Karen and Keith Nichols; grandchildren, Robert Leppink and fiancée Anaca Boulton, Andrew and Lauren Leppink, Arianna and Zech Meinke, Danisue Klomparens and fiancé Josh, Alex Klomparens, Hope Klomparens, Cory and Kayla Nichols, Tyler Nichols; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Bonnie Yarrington, Doreen Yarrington, Carol Klomparens; several loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at noon at Cottonwood Church, 1101 Cypress Dr, Jenison, MI 49428, with Rev. Matt Palsrok officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 11 am- noon prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice, Cottonwood Church, or to the Sunset Legacy Fund.
