Virginia Kathleen Burri, age 85, of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Butts and William Burri; brothers, Jack, Don, Jerry; sister, June. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy (Tom), Cris (Lisa), Michael (Mary), Steven; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, George (Marge); sister-in-law, Pat; numerous nieces, nephews and step children. Ginny enjoyed bowling, Bingo, gardening, knitting for the Santa Claus Girls, fishing and also adopted many shelter dogs and loved spending time with them. Funeral services will be held 3 pm Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Bruce Wilson officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1-3 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
