Virginia Blakeslee

Blakeslee – Virginia A. Blakeslee aged 89 of Allegan passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gordon F. Blakeslee; son, Rev. William Blakeslee; along with her parents; several brothers, sisters and in-laws.  

Virginia is survived by her children, Donna (Howard) Wells, Diane (Francis) Rockwell; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Blakeslee; 6 grandchildren;  6 great grandchildren; brother, Albert Barrett; sister, Laura (Ray) Orsborn; sisters-in-law, Glenna Hula, Lorena (Stan) Gregory.  Virginia spent most of her life as a Pastor’s wife, alongside her husband Gordon, both serving the Free Methodist Church. She owned Don’s Kitchen in Grand Rapids and later in life she served as a home healthcare aide. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Connection Point Church, 2270 S. Mill Iron Road, Muskegon, MI 49442.
