Victor Oosterbaan

Victor Oosterbaan, age 85, of Jenison passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018, and is now home with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis; sons, Paul Oosterbaan, Dale Oosterbaan; daughter-in-law, Lia Oosterbaan. He was a faithful husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa who will be lovingly remembered by his children, Joyce and Alan Haarsma, Lee and Mary Oosterbaan; daughter-in-law, Linda Oosterbaan; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Marvin and Deborah Oosterbaan; sisters-in-law, Grace Dyke, Marilyn Dyke and Marilyn Overweg. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Faith Protestant Reformed Church, 7194 20th Avenue, Jenison, with Rev. Clayton Spronk officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Pacific Island Ministries (Papua, New Guinea).
