Ulises Salas

Ulises Salas, age 40, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 2, 2022. Ulises loved sports, music and spending time with his children, family and brothers. He was preceded in death by his father, Amado C. Salas, and his brother, Amado Salas. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Ulisea, Isabella, and Chrisalia Torrez-Salas; and their mother, Amelia Torrez; mother, Consuelo Salas; sister, Adriana Salas; godsons: Daniel Pedraza, Javier Torrez; nieces and nephews: Christopher, Bianca, Eryck, Gisel, Alex, Rubi, Elias III, Godparents: Maria E. and Sigifredio Cazares; many other family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Joseph the Worker, 3138 Birchwood SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Jose Quintana presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to defray funeral expenses.
