Tyce Bruursema

Tyce J. Bruursema, age 88, who was admired and cherished by so many, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Tyce lived a life of faithful service to God, which was demonstrated in all he did. He was blessed with 67 beautiful years of marriage to the love of his life, Alva, who preceded him in death. Tyce was admired and honored by his children, Lori Baker, Connie (Mark) Griffen, and Jan Bruursema. He was active in and supportive of his grandchildren’s lives, Jenny, Kristina, Karla, Emily, and Neal. He was also invested in the lives of his great-grandchildren, Henry, Tyce, and Owen. Tyce built many treasured friendships over the years through business, church, his service in the Army, and their second home in Florida. He was so thankful for the connections and friendships he made after Alva’s passing with the many kind people of the Grand Village Assisted Living Community. A private family graveside service will be held at Winchester Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Vanden Akker officiating.
