Trenten DeKam

Trenten DeKam, age 56, of Caledonia, transitioned from the arms of his family into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 27, 2025. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Percy and Gert DeKam, and Dale and Marge Schryer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 10 years, Bobbi DeKam; children, Angelina (Patrick) Bishop, Brittany DeKam, Zachary (Danielle) DeKam; stepchildren, Amy (Rick) Loper, Robert McIntyre, Jason (Keelan) McIntyre, Johnathon (Cali) Bergsma; grandchildren, Josephine DeKam, Haily Loper, and Kaily Loper; a grandson on the way, Braxton Bishop; parents, Tracy and Carol DeKam; siblings, Curt (Sheri) DeKam, Kevin (Tina) DeKam, Susan (Ryan Miller) DeKam; parents-in-law, Bob and Joyce Bergsma; nieces and nephews, Chloe and Anneka DeKam, Clayton, Rowan, Hudson, and Teya DeKam; and many other extended family and friends

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Green Lake Calvary Church, 608 145th Ave., Caledonia, with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Hooker Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Sunday, October 5 from 5-7 pm at Green Lake Calvary Church and also on Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Green Lake Calvary Church Missions fund or the Moline Christian School tuition assistance.
