Remembering Todd Allen McIntyre

McIntyre, Todd Allen Todd Allen McIntyre, age 44, of Allegan, formerly of Grandville, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior after a brief battle with cancer.  Todd was fun loving and enjoyed competitive sports, coaching soccer, mentoring and working with young people.  He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shelley McIntyre; his children, Ellie, Thad, Hannah McIntyre and Austin, Ashlea McNees; parents, Ted and Jane McIntyre; parents-in-law, Larry and Deb Belden; sisters, Cathie and Dave Wielhouwer (David “DJ”, Olivia and Mike Boone), Elizabeth McIntyre; the mother of his children, Joan McIntyre and her parents, Dan and Carol Visser; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am at Rush Creek Bible Church, 2334 76th St., Byron Center, with Pastor Bill Bennett officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make lasting memorial contributions to Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya.

I knew Todd through spending many weeks together at Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya. I was a cook. Todd was quite a character, but loved our Lord! My sympathies to his family. Cheryl B.
