Tina Belbot

Tina Lou (Gildner) Belbot, age 67, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. She was born June 20, 1958, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Louis and Viola (Elgie) Gildner. 

Tina is remembered by her three sons, Terry, Michael, and Roy III; her many grandchildren; and her only surviving sister, Patsy Gildner. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family including Dawn and Eric Tolar and their children who held a special place in her heart. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Viola; siblings, Sandra, Larry, Jeanette, Norma, and Ronald, and twin brothers.

Tina lived life with joy, humor, and deep love for those around her. She cherished her family and friends, and had a well-known fondness for snacks, Diet Coke, ice cream, and her favorite hobbies-knitting and crocheting. Her favorite color was purple, and she found peace in gardening, watching birds and butterflies, and simply being outdoors. She adored angels and embraced the beauty of everyday life.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Masonic Pathways of Alma-ABU for the love and compassion shown to Tina during her time in your care.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Fuller Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 1239 Fuller Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, 49506. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Toys for Tots in Tina’s name, as Christmas was her favorite holiday and she believed in the joy of giving.
