Timothy “Tim” Rich

Timothy “Tim” Rich, aged 61 of Wyoming, unexpectedly passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Lucille Rich; grandson, Richard James Rich; and parents-in-law, Richard and Barbara Helgemo. Tim will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne; sons, Chad (Amanda) Rich, John (Carla) Rich; granddaughter, Madison Rae Rich; sister, Patricia (Paul) Yoder; nephews, Scott, Stephen (Samantha), Dan, and Josh Yoder; brother-in-law, James (Sue) Helgemo; nephew, Brian (Kelli); niece, Lisa; sister-in-law, Jeanne (Randy) Helgemo; and nephew, Scott Helgemo. Tim was a fun-loving man who loved to make people laugh. He was a 35 year employee of Michigan Bell and AT&T. He was a devoted father who spent time with his family, teaching the boys to hunt, bowl, play golf and attending their sporting events. Tim enjoyed going to Las Vegas to play cards and the slots resulting in his nickname of “Goldfinger”. He was a diehard Packer and New York Yankees fan and loved watching wrestling with his boys. Funeral services for Tim will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Pastor Paul Yoder officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am-1pm prior to the service.
