Timothy James Laninga, age 51, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2018.  He is survived by his fiancée, Amy Polega; his sons, Brent and Kelli Laninga, Aaron and Brittany Laninga; his granddaughter, Camaira; his parents, Gerald and Jan Laninga; his sister, Kelli (Katie) Laninga; and his former wife, Stephanie Laninga.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Bill Doubblestein officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Team B.A.M. (1820 R.W.
